A tech-savvy boy named Ryder, a group of six rescue dogs and a tonne of adventures and rescue missions, “PAW PATROL” The heroic pups who believe “no job is too big, no pup is too small” have been Naya’s favorite characters on Nick Jr for quite some time now. Her favorite member of the group is the police pup Chase ( i know…being the girly girl that she is i expected her to love Syke more…haha). Being the Tv buff that she is, just like any other 2year old or toddler, she is always completely immersed in the program. Often singing along loudly and dancing if need be anytime the musical scenes come on. Funniest part is when she gets on her bike and tries to make siren sounds like Chase’s atv does on the show….haha. Safe to say i now know every word of the paw patrol theme song thanks to my little miss Naya….oh the joys of motherhood.
You are probably wondering what paw patrol has to do with this post or today’s outfit. Well, remember how i told you Naya is slightly obsessed with Chase the Police Pup on paw patrol? A few weeks ago i took her shopping and she spotted this cute maroon sweatshirt and i heard her blabbering “Chaaaase is onnnn the case…wooof wooof!!!!!” Right away i knew she must have spotted something that looked like a pup on the sweatshirt… now that’s a way to pick out clothes you like. Go Naya!!! Fast forward…weeks later its still her favorite sweatshirt and anytime Paw Patrol comes on on Tv she will run to her room to look for “wooof wooof”…mind you she has a little stuffed pup for a doll but the first thing she identifies with at that point is the sweatshirt…haha… i wish i knew what goes on in her mind at that particular moment.
This look that i put together for this post is basically what she wears every other day to school. Casual, warm (for those cold mornings) and stylish too. Sweatshirts, turtle neck tops, tights and boots (flats when its warm) are my go to pieces when putting together her everyday school looks. On a very cold day she will layer the look with a trench coat or warm jacket.
